This Privacy Policy explains how Boda8News (“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data when you visit boda8news.com or subscribe to our newsletter. We process personal data in line with Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) where it applies.

What we collect

• Newsletter: your email address, and the time you gave consent, only when you submit the subscribe form with the consent box ticked.
• Technical data: standard server and CDN logs (IP address, user agent, pages requested) used for security, performance and abuse prevention.
• Cookies: essential cookies needed to run the site. We do not use advertising trackers on this site at present.

How we use data

Newsletter emails are used solely to send Boda8News editorial updates. We do not sell your email or use it for gambling promotions. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in each email or by writing to editor@boda8news.com.

Sharing

We use infrastructure providers (hosting, database and email delivery) to operate the site. They process data only on our instructions. We may disclose data if required by Malaysian law.

Retention

Subscriber records are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Server logs are retained for a limited operational period.

Your rights
